really like this one too...im partial to having the barrel as short as possible, since my dream gun is a SBR...but since CA laws suck....i guess having both a 16 and 20 on hand will help satisfy both needs..get a noveske and just swap barrels out as i see fit.

If you want easy barrel swapability, you might want to look at LMT Monolithic... yo can switch barrels and even calibers with a simple tool.

I thought the point was to have a "good" rifle, not simply an expensive one. If you want to keep going, get it plated in gold and encrusted in diamonds.

All the brands you provided are great. For what purpose will you use the next AR. My personal choice is JP Enterprise for one of the top manufacturer's. Most 3 gun competitors run JP Rifles or their parts. I bought my JP Rifle as a precision semi rifle. I love the JP rides and their triggers are the best. I've had RRA 2 stage, Giselle 3G, and tried out a Timney. Out of all them the JP provided the best trigger feel and short reset. Giselle 3G came close but for the money I sold the 3G and installed the JP Trigger on my Addax. I like JP so much that I have a JP LRP 07 (.308 caliber) on order.

Here is my JP CTR-02 on top and an Addax rifle below with JP trigger group and compensator installed.

How much did you pay for that HDMR on your JP? And which reticle does it have? Also, how is the fit of the Butler Creek lens covers? Thanks in advance.

I would go with Noveske one of the better barrels out on the market, but then again depends who you ask!

I got my Bushnell from a local calguns member. He had it up for $1100-$1200 BNIB. It has the G2 reticle. The Butler creek caps fit perfect.

If you want to spend money for the sake of spending money, there are lots of options.

Barrel, bolt, trigger, optics and ergonomics are where you get performance (assuming you also have proper assembly).

I put together an all billet side charger space gun for less than $900. It has a used barrel but I still expect it to shoot sub-moa at 600 yards. That doesn't include sights but it will compare well to a $3,000 factory gun.

In my opinion most people buying high end ARs don't really know what they want except something expensive. If you want value, figure out what you want and buy exactly that, not a brand name.
