Carbine gas system on a rifle buffer system?

Was thinking of going to a fixed-A2-style or ACE skeleton stock and buffer tube/buffer.

I am using a carbine-length 16" gas upper.

Will the carbine-length gas work with a rifle-buffer system?

i don't see why not. i believe the carbine gas system throws the bolt back harder than a rifle length system. i'm sure someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

Match the buffer to the tube. Using a H buffer will work for almost every set up. You want your brass to eject pattern 3:00-4:30.
