    Another Featureless Question

How difficult is it to switch over to a standard magazine release? I purchased a complete rifle with a BB, so I do not have any other magazine release parts.

Which parts will I need to purchase in order to do the conversion? Tools?

    Thanks

Takes about a minute if it's your first time. You just need a toothpick/tweezers to unscrew the nut. The BB tool would be ideal, but if youre never going to use it again I don't see the reason to spend the money on it.

You need the original mag release and spring. Should take all but 20 seconds after the BB is removed.

I have a whole bunch of ''standard'' mag release buttons and springs. If you are close to me, I'll even help you change it out (got a home made steel tool for it). If you are not close, I can drop one in the mail. Send me a PM.

so you just need the button and the spring?

tested out my M&P15 sport - (took upper, grip, stock off first) removed the BB and mag catch.

no locktite seemed present, came off with little effort with tweezers.

Thanks, just now waiting for my parts from midwayusa

                      question about pinning stocks....

can you simply pin it or screw it in a way that you can't actuate the adjustment lever?

i see videos on youtube of actually drilling through the buffer tube notches.....which i don't want to do (want to avoid permanent modifications).
