He actually posted something about trouble with his server i the COMMERCIAL SALES area in the marketplace. He is a good guy and a solid vendor here as you know. I think he is going on some sort of vacation or business trip. Go check his thread. Word.

Yes, unfortunately I am having some serious issues with my server but my hosting company is trying to get me moved over to a new server right now. I am traveling so I cannot stay on top of them to make sure it gets done properly so it may be done by the end of the day today or it could be a few days before everything is online again. Sorry for the inconvenience but hopefully it will be performing better than before once the transition is complete.

I'm sitting in the Admiral's Club in the OC airport right now because my flight out was grounded AFTER everyone had boarded the plane. They announced that they discovered "structural damage to the underside of the wing". Back off the plane, get my luggage from baggage claim, back in line, book new flight, etc, etc, etc... If everything goes well with the new flights, I will be arriving at my final destination in NC at 11:50pm tonight. When it rains it pours...

At least they caught it. Is this a military or commercial plane?

With AA that does not surprise me.

I fly them to Texas allot on business, and their planes are either falling apart or there is some level of wear and damage...

One time I took a flight out of DFW, and smoke started to come through the floor at the wing root. There was a hydraulic leak that was spilling hydraulic fluid onto the rear landing gear brakes and since they were hot the fluid started to burn a bit and smoke out into the cabin.

Guess what, the warning light that was supposed to light up in the event of hydraulic fluid pressure drop from a leak or failure was burned out.

The plane turned back around after 20 minutes in the air and landed with the worst stench and smoke in the cabin...

Everytime I get delayed due to an aircraft problem, I go the Admirals Club representatives and get free travel or discount vouchers... Hope they took care of you at the OC Admirals Club.

                        What's wrong with American Airlines?

Here's the #1 engine on an AA jet that threw the first stage high pressure turbine disk, luckily it was on the ground at the time.

Unfortunately it threw a section of the turbine disk into the #2 engine

Sorry not to get off track from the original post.

Hope you got the Server issues fixed.

So in the meantime, another AA issues story.

                          Flying out of Ontario,

We were all boarded about to take off, and the planes computer started acting up.

The techs arrived a few minutes later, and I was seated in First Class, and so I could hear the discussion the cockpit.

All of sudden the computer starts blaring out: "Warning, Warning" "Altitude too low", "Warning, Warning"...

The plane is on the tarmac blaring out these warnings and we are just sitting there, and oh yeah I also forgot to mention it was the middle of August, 99 degrees Hot and Humid...

The techs started ripping out computer boards in the cockpit, and 30 minutes they said they had everything fixed.

We take off and about 10 minutes into the flight the pilot all of sudden turns back around and announces that the computer glitches are acting up and he has to bring the plane back to Ontario, while we all hear "Warning, Warning" over the intercom as the pilot is speaking...

All my sites and databases are moved over to a new server and the blog, at www.blog.riflegear.com is back online, but there is still one problem with the store that I should be able to resolve tomorrow.
