So I had a
moment yesterday... wasn't sure if I put the gas tube in the right spot (didn't realize that it would only go all the way in if it was) and so I tried to slow the bolt with my finger... didn't work (duh)
So, I went into a slight bit of shock, remained calm, grabbed ice quickly, held it for a minute, remembered first aid knowledge and proceeded to drill my nail with my knife(releases the pressure of blood under the nail and prevents deeper bruising), then washed it with peroxide and wrapped it with a bandage.
Had a bit of nausea and a lot of cold sweat, but overall I did okay.
So now its bruised, but not NEARLY as bad as it could have been... I keep banging it on things >.<

Anyway, I learned my lesson, and Hopefully everyone else can have a laugh and not repeat the mistake.
