How about a $50 Saginaw S'G' M1 Carbine with correct Carry case. Bought this back in 1971. Hasn't been shot in at least 30 years. Once I found out what the I-P marked parts meant in this carbine (it's a "transition" carbine) went into retiremement. Irwin-Peterson couldn't fullfill it's WW2 Carbine contract so General Motors took it over. That's why it has the mixed parts,
Saginaw S'G' (Saginaw Gear) finished using the I-P parts when they started thier run of Carbines OR so I've been told anyway. I shoot my Inland though, it has the adjustible sights, fun and handy little carbine.
