Beautiful, I just helped my friend purchase an inland carbine. RRA marking on the stock and a 44 barrel. Looking forward to see how his shoots. Having never handled an m1 before, I love how small and maneuverable they are. Congrats on the purchase!

Yep, i reload. So it's going to be another $100 in a die set and shell plate. Then I can reload 100 for under $20. It's a pistol round, so I don't have to resize and lube the cases
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.

I think you will. It's a tapered case, and even if it wasn't you'd have to resize otherwise the bullet will fall out.

M1 Carbines are the perfect CA rifle. 30 carbine isn't that bad its about the same as 223. Out of all my toys my "War Baby" gets the most "nice rifle" remarks at the range especially from the old folks.

i have a saginaw as well and the thing shoots great. Only thing i had to do was tear the bolt down and get the rest of the cosmoline cleaned out. Enjoy it, i sure do

Of the WWII era long guns that are not NFA, it is the one I most lust after the most.

The M1 is an awesome rifle but its not even close to a .223.

I meant length wise, the dies will compress it back down to correct diameter.

I think he meant the price of ammunition.
