Hogue grips normally need to be clearanced for the selector.

I have a half-dozen new selectors if you want one. Just PM me your address and I can drop one in the mail.I got a Hogue rubberized pistol grip for my AR at the gun show and when I installed it I saw a problem with my AR: apparently my safety selector is slightly "bent" towards the bottom half. This never presented a problem with the A2 pistol grip, and I only noticed it because the Hogue grip is slightly fatter than the lower receiver. I can move the selector with the Hogue installed, but it provides annoying resistance to the switch. Anyone have a regular selector switch they'd be willing to trade for my slightly bent one? I'd be much obliged

I think Maton has a FA selector he'd be willing to give you.
