What is this? Is there an actual .22 version like the GSG guns, or is this some kind of dress-up kit for 10/22s, or did you rig something yourself? Never seen a .22 TAR.

Unfortunately you'll have to find some way to extend the overall length by 2" for CA. I'm sure the aftermarket will step up with muzzle extensions, stocks, etc. I'm actually surprised the asking price isn't higher. I just might snatch one of these up on the used market in a year or two.

I wouldn't bet on it any time soon. Maybe after 5 or 6 years after its been released.

All depends on demand. We've seen plenty of manufacturers and merchants step up to help us Californians get what we want--with bullet buttons, featureless stocks, middleman transfers, mag rebuild kits, etc. If there's a demand, someone will fill it. I agree that there may be a delay, but I would be surprised if it were that long. It will all depend on how many people want them; obviously MFR's and retailers will be reluctant to invest in something that there may prove to be no market for. We shall see.

they dont make any aftermarket stocks like these so i went with airsoft stocks.

                        Here's a .22 version using a dress up kit

                        Marlin 795 in the TAR21
Ruger 10/22 in the M14 EBR and FS2000

Nice I didn't know they made stuff like that for the 795, back when I got mine there wasn't much out there for the 795 so I been out of the loop.

NFA and barrel lengths kill all desire to own a bullpup in Ca.
