the only thing I see with those are, they arn't permanant unless you do a rivet mod to them. Also, can you use them with standard metal GI 30 rounders? Im moving down in a month to San Diego...

Instead of converting them just tell me how much you want for em, I might just send you a money order and you can mail them to my house. Think it over.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

Just put a rivet in the side where it will stop the follower at 10 rounds or less an when you move out of state or take off for a vacation drill it out and have normal capacity

The thing about the rivet is where the 10 rnds stop the rivet would be in the magazine well and wouldn't fit between the well and the mag.

Two quick passes on the rivet head with a rasp usually takes care of it; it's alot less work than breaking out the welder and bench grinder.

"usually takes care of it" uhh doesnt sound promising, plus you get a eye sore rivet head on your mag. I'll take the time welding, grinding and painting them because I have the tools in my garage, they look unaltered and over time there's no potential "wiggling" and coming loose of a rivet in the thin mag metal. To each their own just my two cents.

I have worked on 40 year old cars with riveted window motors. The metal is as flimsy as a mag and after 40 years of ramming a window up and down the rivets are tight so I don't think they will come loose unless you didn't put them in right and the don't look bad specially if there hidden by the mag well as every one in my shop says its a tool not a jewel I'm not scared of modifying some thig for ease practicality and cheapness just cuz it isn't as good looking as something that takes more time effort and money

The way I'm converting 30 round mags to 10 round capacity is by buying a 458 SOCOM upper and engraving 458 SOCOM on the magazines

As I said to each their own. If that works for you good. However, I prefer the craftsmanship and looks of a normal looking mag and besides one mag literally takes me less than 15 min to modify minus paint.

If you measure the stop only to the point where 10round of ammo extends in the mag body. You will only be able to load the mag with the bolt hold open. (That is usually the case)
