Too many toys for a 21 yr old? :D

I really enjoy my toys but do I have enough at 21? I'm thinking I'm missing a 1911A1 and a GSG-5. That should sate me till summer gets me the cash for an AICS remy 700.

I'm sure glad I learned to build most of them myself. Its amazing how much you save when you price hunt on a college budget! BTW, the extra receiver is going to be a spikes .22.

On a side note, It really is truly worth it to buy the genuine optics instead of clones! I highly recommend the trijicon reflex for those that hate buying batteries!

Never too many toys! A 1911 and a glock or 2 wouldn't hurt. The 700 AICS will be a nice addition as well. Then maybe a 308 AR, then maybe...it never stops!

The 9mm is a very economical way of firing an AR. Its a real blast. You can fire nice quality brass ammo and the bill will still be cheaper than firing the cheapo steel 7.62x39 stuff. However, even 9mm is getting pricey so thats why I'm going to do a spikes build so i can have a super econ AR. lol.

My .223 ARs rarely get shot, which really sucks. Ammo is too expensive at the moment. lol. I started building ARs when I could find tons of winchester 5.56 for $4 a box at K-Mart. Its hard to find nice quality brass ammo for less than $8-10 per box. My match SPR has only seen 40 rounds of ammo. Federal gold is currently out of my budget @ $30 per box. lol.

When I was 21 I had over 25 rifles...

When I was 25 I had 35 rifles...

When I was 30 I had 3 rifles...

32 rifles went to fund my college education..

I am 37, married, mortgage, starting a new business and I have 35 rifles again..

Wow, thats quite the collection you got there. Im lovin the AR precision build. I think that is close to what im aiming for my next build. Im slowly buildin up my collection, but the college budget slows things down. Also savin for a Springfield 1911a1 loaded and maybe a sig 226 when I finally turn 21 in a few months... The wait is just killin me! Anyways, nice collection. Keep it growin!

Nice collection! Especially like the black rifles. My collection's like yours, in that I have a lot of long guns and few handguns. One of the signs of a young collector, I suppose.

I am 21 as well, have around the same as you do.
