Pretty much what I bought from them, except I got one with hand guards. I like their uppers.

BCM is a great company... You got nothing to worry about... many are very happy with them, never seen a complaint

They are the highest quality longest lasting ARs on the market . At least as good or better than Colt . Since 1973 I have owned and sold 6 colt ARs of various barrel weights . They went up big time during the assult weapon bans if you didn't know?? But I have 2 BCM uppers and 1 is a light weight middie and I love it much better for many reasons over all than the Carbine setup

They are not pricey when you consider you have the best there is. The BCM will last and last with proper lubing. http://www.slip2000.com/art-swat2.html

Mil spec is a standard of acceptance. You can have something that isnt mil spec and have it exceed quality and performance. That being said I have a BCM barrel on one rifle and complete 11.5 upper that have given me zero issues with acceptable accuracy.

Nothing but praise for BCM here. I've got a 16" BFH middy that's smooth like butter.

Not going to say there aren't several other top notch uppers on the market as well, but you can't go wrong with BCM.

How dare you not know BCM was founded in 1950s() with tons of military/LE contract, and good tracking record for more than 50 years

Joke aside, BCM was founded in 1995 2005 and assembles high quality ARs just like other reputable companies.

I have a BCM mid-length upper on my AR and it's gone through about 4000 rounds no problem. I know that's not even close to how many rounds some of you guys have through your guns but I'm working on it

Sorry, according to BCM website, it was 2005. Not sure on small stuff, but major parts are from other companies as I know, like barrels, bolts, etc(and they change sourcing from time to time, not sure the current, though). Some of the components do have BCM mark on it like the rebranded troy sights. Their marketing are among the best, IMHO.

OP, no thread hijack. BCM is very good to go.
