At this time slings are a lower priority so I bought one of the Blackhawk Universal two point slings off ebay for less than $13.00, which included shipping.

Thanks to all, and when I'm ready to upgrade I will certainly refer to this thread, which I am certain will be helpful to others.

Botachtactical.com is currently selling the BDS tactical dual sling 1pt/2pt for the on sale price of 21.99. This is on top of their normal no tax/no shipping cost

        $7.71 from Exilemachine FTW

I just wanted a simple (read: cheap) starter sling for my M&P15 sport

Today, we are ecstatic to announce that Lunde Studio acquired Exile Machine. Exile Machine is another forerunner in the gun industry, boasting 10 years of substantial professional experience.

I think I actually paid about $7.58 for mine....but with inflation, looks like this is now $7.71. It's made by Blackhawk at least, and works for me (just range trips)

Get a surplus sling small arms aka quiet sling aka 1005-01-216-4510.

Its a simple nylon strap for $3-$10

Honestly a 1 point slaps me in the &@!!$ every time I transition, and I have been doing it for a long time. The Magpul isn't bad and doesn't ### slap me like a standard single point.

Frankly the cqb 101 is my favorite sling, but it is a 3 point. But I got used to that a long time ago.

I switch off between a Vickers combat application and Larue padded sling. Both are very good but for the best price/value I would go with another Vickers.
