I have no problems with my 10/30's, I have three that I got from parallax tactical. They load normal and the dust covers fit fine. My only complaint is that they are epoxied so replacing parts may be a chore down the line

Sorry my friend I doubt the laws will ever change if anything they are getting worse.I can drill out my two restricted 10/30 pmags with a 1/16" bit and have two perfectly good 30 rounders when the laws change. I got them from NGS and have had zero problems with them so far.
Also, its kinda nice having a mag that at least looks like the intended magazine sticking out of the bottom of my AR. Lets be honest, the way our guns look is almost as important as the way they shoot.Comment

Magazines don't cost a lot of money. If the laws change you can just buy a new one or four.I can drill out my two restricted 10/30 pmags with a 1/16" bit and have two perfectly good 30 rounders when the laws change. I got them from NGS and have had zero problems with them so far.

You got that right about the looks though. My firearms must be on point just like me, just like my hair, just like my clothes, just like my shoes, just like my ride, if they are going to be owned by me. I know some people don't care about looks as much as they do reliability, but I do. They are equal in my eyes. No room for ugly guns here.sigpicComment

Hmmmm... I just use a Hammerhead on my featureless build and use real pre-ban USGI 20s and 30s...Comment

I recently purchased 3 Magpul pinned 10/30 mags from National Gun Supply. Due to mechanical problems they needed to be returned. I contacted them and they shipped out replacements right away, paid the shipping on the return, and they did all this over the Christmas holidays. All I can say is, if you have any problem with something you buy from them, they will make it right, and quickly.
These pinned or pinned and blocked mags are being modified by third party people and then sold through places like NGS. Im sure they are not in a position to do functional checks on each one they sell.G_Conway

Well, the first order for 2 PMAGs from them was wrong. They sent the wrongs ones. We had to send them back on our dime. I'm not blowing more money on shipping for another potential problem. I'll just make 'em myself. I've already got the epoxy, and the rebuild kits and blocks are about $2 or so cheaper to buy separately than the NGS mags. Plus, I don't have to pay shipping, so I'm really saving even more.
I wasn't even in high school when the ban came around, so I guess congrats on having them?

Really ? Because ten years ago we wouldn't even be talking about owning new Ar or AK platform weapons. Plenty people said things would only get worse. Bans on semi auto long rifle, sniper rifle semi auto pistols ect ect.Originally posted by FastFingerWe are a dynamic community that reflects society at large. Agreed, Im trying to stay optimistic. I feel things will only get better. If things get much worse in CA there might be some S hitting the F."The pen is mightier than the sword....until someone tries to take your pen away." -RSComment

Trust me, I have plenty of "re-build" kits as well."The pen is mightier than the sword....until someone tries to take your pen away." -RSComment
