Question also? The pins (for lack of a better word) the hold the trigger. I can move them a little (1/8" play or so). Side to side on the receiver. I tried to push them out with my finger, no luck, which is good. I assume its the style pin? Or is this not normal?

Its probably not fully seated. The axxis pins have groves on them and must be pushed in from left to right completely flush. If they are wiggling around, chances are your retaining plate or sheperads hook are not firmly in the grooves. If you rack your bolt, i bet youll notice the trigger axxis pin will start to wiggle out.

I have something like that for a thumb rest as well! Except it's much thinner, I need to find something to cushion it.

Ill post some pics in a few. Picture the pin 1/16" flush of the receiver, then moves back inside receiver 1/16". That's the play. I have pushed it hard with my thumb and then small phillips screw driver and couldn't get it to go past. I assume it ok?

Took it back out out the safe, and tapped it again, and now it seems to be good.

I only saw the retaining plate (on the side) you were talking about on the .223 not on the 7.62, it has a spring looking thing. Done cheaper or?
