Last Flag Day, I came home in the morning (work nights) and my wife had hung the flag like the OP and I thought she was trying to make a statement .......very unlike her, but I rolled with it and left it. Later that day she mentioned she mounted the flag upsidedown and I told her I thought she was making a statement about the state the country was in....nope, just a mistake on her part. She fixed it.

His avatar is a traditional symbol of America in trouble. It is not meant to be offensive be easily seen as so for the unknowing. I would agree with his avatar with the "situation" america is in at this time. I was working on the new bay bridge toll plaza. The Caltrans lackeys flew the flag in this manner. We told a CHP that was posted there that this was a disstress signal. We asked if he could check on the building. He did a 15 mins later they fixed it. Total fail.
