    AK 47 Magazine questions

Im looking to purchase AK 47 rebuilt kits and wondered the difference between them.

I want metal magazines but was not sure the benefit of country of origin or if there were any other differences?

Now let's talk about your avatar, and how it may be offensive.

His avatar is a traditional symbol of America in trouble. It is not meant to be offensive be easily seen as so for the unknowing. I would agree with his avatar with the "situation" america is in at this time. I personally do not find it offensive but then again I know what it symbolizes. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_does_...wn_upside_down

              Meaning:
According to this code, "the flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property." (Ref. 1.)

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. What part of shall not be infringed is hard to understand!?!

I don't mind changing it but can you tell me why it's offensive?

keep it IF you have it displayed as to the real meaning. If not, change it!

This star spangled banner stands for more than mere economic hard times; it represents sacrifices of our brave men & women who have willingly sacrificed for freedom and liberty that many hold dear!

I'm not in a position to lecture you or anyone else for that matter, and I totally respect and support your right to express your feelings and thoughts, but I can also see how someone may get offended by an upside down American flag that's meant to flutter high upright in the wind.

Rejoice in liberty & freedom but know it was, and still is, a hard fought battle that some tend to take for granted....

                      Back to your subject OP:

I have Solar Tactical 30/10 mags, all metal construction military spec/surplus mags that were moded for 10 rounds.
I have both the one with the spine on the back of the mag and the one with no spine, just a low profile ridge. They all work plenty fine.

............ Good luck building that kit, do show and tell when the job is done!

                      ....

I dont want to get into a debate but I personally do believe the US is in more trouble than just financially. To the OP....IF you have your avatar represented in any other way, I too find it MORE than offensive and recommend you change it.

I actually prefer the chinese metal mags. They dont have the spine in the back.

What ever mags you get just make sure the followers don't bind.

As for the avatar.....Paging Jeff M.
