Highly doubtful. 5.56 is in much wider use and Afghanistan is still ongoing regardless

Well, .308 is a much more popular caliber in Afghanistan, given the distances involved. So I highly doubt well much, if any, .308 surplus anytime soon. Especially given that the powers that be aren't too keen on selling it to civilians these days.

Well the Republicans are massively dropping the ball, and with rumors that he may drop Biden and bring in Hellary as the VP candidate..... Things aren't looking good to unseat him.

We're still in Iraq. We're just subbing out the soldiers for contractors.

But it's probably not the greatest thing when the gov't is practically your employer by proxy. It is bad enough stateside with the gov't being so large...
