    Assembled my lower today!

My lower build kit finally got here! It went from Oakland, to San Pablo, to W. Sac, back to San Pablo, back to W. Sac, then to San Andreas for delivery. Ugh, lol.

    JD Machine Lower
    PSA LPK
Magpul MOE Grip, MOE Trigger Guard and MOE Stock...all in foliage green.
    Raddlock Gen-X BB

The most PITA part is getting the bolt catch roll pin in. Wow. That was the only part of the assembly that I wouldn't mind never doing again, lol. I couldn't get it all the way in so it sits evenly across the gap, but the one side is at least flush with the receiver. Probably creating panic by not being able to describe it very well. Psst...I promise it's not going anywhere!
No extra Chinese parts either! All that was left was the real mag release button and it's spring. The MOE stock does have the "wiggles" as some have pointed out, but it really isn't bad at all (that's coming from an OCD person). Nothing that I wouldn't expect from something that simple slides over something else. Once the stock touches your shoulder with any amount of felt pressure, the wiggles are gone. Glad I saved $75 by going with the MOE instead of the CTR. Just need to order a CAR wrench from RifleGear when I get my upper from them so I can tighten the buffer tube castle nut.

Anyways, pictures, right? I followed the CalGuns OLL Build Guide, and this is what I ended up with:

Nothing crazy to see here, but thanks for looking and the help in deciding what to get!!! Also, a big thanks for the assembly write-up so us first-timers can do this the right way!!!

I do believe that your castle nut is on backwards.

My ACS wasn't as tight as I would like so I lined the interior of the tube with duct tape and that improved the fit.

If you want to tighten it up, try that.

For the bolt hold open roll pin, I use the hollow end of a T25 (I think) security Torx bit to hold the roll pin while I drive it in. It works every time.

Nice job, looks very close to mine save for the color. I got the tan option, but I really like the color you choose as well.

                          Gratz man, looks awesome

Only thing I think the ctr has over the moe is the qd slot for a sling. The friction lock is kinda gimmicky, but if you're not planing on hooking up a sling back there the moe is the way to go!

Btw done any function checks on the safety and trigger?

And pshaw, all the chicks dig Foliage Green dude, you got yourself a looker!

I think your rear pin is inserted from the wrong side. I built up my third lower last night.
I mangled my first bolt pin but the last two have slid in like butter. My secret, oil on the pin and in the whole and the Brownells pin punch starter.
