Both fit solid with no wobble at all really. Very pleased with it.

I'm located in Brea, California, so the indoor Orange County range is about 5 minutes away, only problem is I can't take my rifle there. My question is, are there any indoor ranges that would allow this type of rifle? Or do I have to go to somewhere like Azusa/Sylmar to an outdoor range? Any suggestions, indoor (or outdoor) that are near to me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Adding a few pics to show off the goods..
JUST got my metal mags! Looks legit now, check it out..

I went to Angeles in Sylmar a couple days ago but it's a bit of a drive from where I'm at. I'll search for that thread Roecar was talking about, but any more suggestions are more than welcome.
Ammo suggestions are welcome as well. As with most noobies, all the different ammo types can be a bit confusing for me. I purchased 2 boxes of Federal American Eagle 124 grain Full Metal Jacket cartridges, would these be allowed at say, Burro Canyon in Azusa or Angeles Range in Sylmar?
            Menacing Methods,

The ammo you bought is just fine for your needs. It's American made and lead cored so any out door range will accept it without any hassle. If you want more I went to Bass Pro in Ontario area and bought 4 boxes of Remington yellow box but be aware each box of twenty is practically twenty bucks each. NOT CHEAP. Stay away from the cheap imported stuff from BIG 5. It's steel cored and any range will reject it from the start. Besides that it's corrosive in nature so if your AK bore isn't chromed then be perpared to scrub your barrel well using a good dose of Hoppe's no.9

Also....if you can I'd use a much smaller magazine that the one your have. For sure the range master will come to your table and examine it!!!! By doing this they will leave you alone.

Good luck on your first day. Have a great time

Sure did, had it up on the first picture i posted with the 10 round polymer mag, but I took that down because it looks silly to me now with that small plastic magazine haha.

I appreciate the ammo help as well, sounds like I should be looking for some noncorrosive lead core ammo. Guess I'm set, only thing left to do is go out and do some shooting
              Thanks everyone.

I ran my wasr over with my f250 crewcab by accident and it still kept on tickin. Treat your AR like wives and AK like strippers they like it that way. I named mine Fantasia.

                  Menacing Methods,

Your gonna have some good fun at the range for sure! Currently I'm waiting for BIG 5 to replace me IO Casar version cuz it has for the big part a canted sight. With any hope it should arrive before the yeas up.

Good shooting to ya and let us know how it went.
