I watch the show, but with a grain of salt

The show is all about some dudes coming up with unoriginal ideas or trying to build something to see if it can be done. They even said the majority of their business is converting Saiga AKs.

They are freakin chimpanzees. $150 to clean an Arisaka?! I love the comment about "There ain't no safeties on these things". What the hell is that big rotating knob on the back of the freakin bolt? It would have taken what? a minute to look that up online? And them going on and on about how hard it is to find ammunition for it. Puh-leeease. 10 years ago, maybe. Now you can get it loaded, online, for the same price as most other hunting ammunition. Uhhhg! And yes, I agree. They have yet to come up with an original idea the whole time I have been watching. But they always have some sort of stupid artificial deadline that they are racing to meet, instead of actually taking the time to do the job right the first time around.

A 1000 yard ak shouldn't be that hard to do. A match barrel on a 308 and kill the gas system with a cut off like the yugos. We had a Saiga 12 they built come through as a transfer. It wasn't 922r compliant, had hammer follow and none of the holes were welded. I seen one show where the dude was gonna TIG weld but they show him using MIG machine.

I like the show and all their work except for the chrome gun they made.

I have to agree with that as well, I like the show but I found it sacrelidge to chrome that machine gun. Now if they had done a nice matte finish with the dragon that would have been cool. Just my opinion.
Also, I'm sorry but the guitar gun just doesn't say "gun" to me. Maybe firework guitar, or flamethrower guitar but not gun guitar.

But... it's "entertainment" it doesn't matter that they're an actual shop selling actual product ripping people off and apparently having shoddy workmanship, it's just entertainment stop drinking the haterade and criticizing them like we do with any other manufacturer who produces overpriced and under performing goods, they're just entertaining the people who don't know much about guns and being on mainstream TV entertaining people is all they need to do instead of actually get decent work done and provide close to correct information.

I had to insert the generic sons of guns apologist comment since it hadn't been done already. When this thread hits about 40 posts it'll be ready for the onslaught of comments about the woman on the show one way or another as if everyone needs to rate every woman on TV(which tells me the people who do this must sit there with their friends discussing "hot or not" while watching re-runs of the Golden Girls).

Get a dragunov. It is a long range russian rifle, that costs about 1000 dollars less than the hack job AK, and I'm willing to bet is more accurate at longer distances

Nope and never will. Don't feel like paying premium for their stupid stamped logo. You could build or buy the same thing for half the price on some of the stuff they build.

But if you don't mind paying an extra $700 for their name have fun.
