Bushnell TRS-25 is what I have. I looked at many reviews and found that this little scope holds up to recoil and is very durable. It is a 3 MOA dot, which is the same that most Aimpoints use. Many cheap red dots use 5-7 MOA. I have no complaints with it after about 1000 rounds. I got mine from here when they were a little cheaper, but you can still find them for about 90 bucks shipped.

You will need a riser with this mount to work well with an AR. I got this little guy with the 3-slots.

I never looked into Primary Arms. Someone else is obviously making their product, but they look pretty good. I would still go with the Bushnell only because I know that it works.

Vortex Strikefire, or the vortex SPARC. There might be a group buy btw on the SPARC, just look in the marketplade.

I've been REALLY happy with my Ultradot, around $125 and it's a very high quality unit that's received numerous positive reviews from bullseye shooting fourms

I was down in Houston last week. Stopped by to check out the store. Great people and great products. I picked up a Micro Dot for my AR.

a cheap red dot is just that, a cheap red dot. Over the next couple months save a few bucks here and there and get an eotech or aimpoint. you wont regret it.
Actually, it's not a matter of making someone feel unwelcome. If they feel unwelcome because it is pointed out that they are simply lazy or rude - so be it.

See, I just searched the centerfire rifles section for threads with "red dot" in the title. Wanna guess how many hits you get???

Calguns IMO is the absolute best site for firearms and 2nd Ammendment information on the net, epecially for those of us in California. It's annoying to miss out on good NEW information or discussion due to the que being stacke dup with "best SHTF rifle", "best red dot for 3 bucks", "look at the pics of my new Magpul part everybody has seen 1000 times" and the like.

How about Tru-Glo???? I found them to be pretty good and reliable on my AR's.

Primary arms works for me. I've run it hard on the desert and on the range about 600 rounds and has retained 0. Works well and inexpensive.

Vortex is known for their lifetime warranty, even if YOU break it, even with NO receipt, they'll fix it or replace it:

They would get my vote on that alone...couple that with the fact that their gear works great and you've got a winner.

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

                          Plus one primary arms.
I don't own one, but my father and friends have em. Superior quality to even the bushnells sights.
Vortex are also good, but for a little more than the price of one new, you can get a REAL eotech or aimpoint, which I feel is a far better value.
I've bought both used and never had an issue.
If these things can stand up to hard use by mil and leo types, buying one from another civi leaves little to worry about

I have a Tru-Glo on one of my .22's and it works very nicely. Holds zero just fine after 1000 rounds. Haven't put it on one of my bigger rifles though.

I own both eotech and the Bushnell trs-25.I have 2 Bushnell's on AK's and one on my Sig 522.There is absolutely no other red dot I would buy given the Bushnell's performance for 85 dollars.

If you buy the Bushnell and you don't like it I will buy it for my S12.
