I already said I looked up the stats - you pulled up a link to an article about one case. That doesn't prove your point if you had one to begin with. Yes, there have been about a thousand cases of rape since the inception of the organization. I pointed out that there's a thousand a year in LA alone. But saying that the Peace Corps isn't effective because some women have gotten raped in backwards places like Nepal is like saying we shouldn't have gone to war because people will die.

Arriving at SHTF may be a very gradual event over a long expanse of time. When I read about some of the gun policies in CA, I think SHTF may have already arrived there.

None of those rifles "look" scary or assault rifle/military rifle at all. They have wood stocks ( for the most part) and just look a lot like a traditional hunting rifle. Most people won't think its a scary rifle at all.
