My idea for a CA legal Troy M1A stock

I was looking deeply into the Troy combat stocks for the M1A and M14, however, I wanted maintain a detachable magazine.

This stock is based off of many that have come before it:

Whats the top tube for??? There is no need for that tube as there is no buffer and no buffer spring.

You could also use a MMG on a Troy.

That cheek rest looks like a torture device.

You could call it the Cruel Stock. Just needs a few spikes or needles in the grip area.

The M1A stock doesn't need embellishment - the whole rifle works fine as-is.
