Well... depends on what brand. IMO the BCG is probably a part you don't want to skimp on if you can help it.

I've been looking for a cheap BCG as well. This is the cheapest one I've found so far:

i really woudln't cheap out on the BCG, its one of the most critical parts on an AR, a poorly made bolt will usually break at the cam pin hole since theres so much stress on the weakened part, a poorly made bolt carrier will not be smooth cycling in your upper causing FTF/FTE issues(it'll basically feel like your really rubbing material manually operating the bolt versus a slick action), IMHO a well made BCG along with a decent upper are necessary

I have a 22lr conversion, so I expect to be firing that 99% of the time. I just wanted a BCG to fire .223 once in a while, so durability is not one of my primary concerns.

Once you start using that conversion you'll get tired of it quickly. They are not accurate and are unreliable at best.

I agree that the BCG is not the place to be cheap. You can get a quality BCG for around $135-$140.
Using gun control to stop crime is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline!
You don't have to get permission to exercise a RIGHT. If you have to get permission or can be told no by the government it is no longer a right. IT IS A PRIVILEGE!
