Yeah... I suspect an issue with the firing pin or springs..

Pictures of the primer on the ammo would also be helpful.

i see what all you are saying. it was all lubed and slippery btw. Im sure it is my FCG that isnt hitting the firing pin hard enough.. but WHY is it shooting Remington UMC so much better? thats what is really puzzling here....i posted pics in a earlier thread a while ago with the same pics. (light primer hit).

Change your hammer spring. As for why one ammo goes bang more frequently than another, it's a primer hardness difference.

try out your upper on another lower and vice versa. see where the problem lies. im sure its the gun not the ammo.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Saw a guy at the range one time having similar issues..... upened up his rifle, gutted the fire control group, put it back in for him..... that was the issue. Is your hammer pin loose and backing out at all? If the spring is backwards.. it won't keep enough pressure on the pin to keep it in.

You now have a new complete BCG?
At this point I would start with a new hammer spring.
They are cheap and it will eliminate it as causing the problem.
If that doesn't stop it then you may have a timing issue.

Need more info. What LPK? Is it stock? Aftermarket trigger or hammer? Stock hammer spring? Is it on backwards? Stock firing pin? Proper pin protrusion?

Its the gun. PMC is awesome for plinking/salvaging the brass for reloading.

Check to ensure your hammer spring is installed correctly. See picture.

the FCG is installed correctly guys.. trust me. and the Lower Parts Kit is still from an original Colt AR15(about 15 years old). The new Bolt Carrier Group is Del-Ton. All is good in the BCG. I am sure it is my hammer/springs that is the problem.

Yeah new hammer spring, if it is that old. The title needs to be changed. PMC is not the issue.
