        $480 for the URX
        $260 for the wrench
        $300 for the alignment tool

so only $1040 for the package. I guess if you need high end gear...you got a high end job.

If KAC would ship to CA, they could increase their volume, and therefore lower their prices due to their new found volume, so maybe I could get the barrel nut wrench for say.......$199? LMAO!

Yup, KAC makes dollas like we make poops. It's only worth it IMO if you buy it installed, and even then, you could have bout a DD Lite and KAC M4 Front BUIS for less.

Companies that are filling government contracts don't care if they sell to the public or not. The government is giving them more buisness than they can handle and pays the prices they ask without question.
Using gun control to stop crime is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline!
You don't have to get permission to exercise a RIGHT. If you have to get permission or can be told no by the government it is no longer a right. IT IS A PRIVILEGE!

Love the URX on my SR15 but that's exactly why I prefer the DD M4A1 RISII to the URX. I can easily service the rifle myself without the need for a $260 barrel nut wrench.

they're not about high-volume to the regular market when they're filling .gov contacts. (unlike most companys).

Buy the rail from Valkyrie Tactical and Jerry will install it for you for free. Jerry's a great guy and his customer service is top notch. Oh and he's located in City of Industries.

I've got a BCM upper with that rail, and the ridiculously expensive proprietary wrench pissed me off too. If/when I need to get the barrel replaced, I plan on just sending it to BCM or some other gunsmith.

As for the rail itself, I think it's too expensive for what it is. The front sight is a nice feature, but it wobbles from front to back a little. The QD sockets don't have an anti-rotation feature, which is really annoying.
