I got a bonus today! Help me spend my money.

So I have an extra 600 bucks I can play with. I have a butt ton of .223/5.56 ammo to play with. Do I A.) sell off my .223 ammo and use it to fund part of another rifle. Or B.) buy a rifle like a Tikka T3 lite in .223 and shoot the crap out of it. I was looking at savage thumbhole .17hmr rifles, and many others. Anyway, what would you get with $600 maybe a little more if you were in my shoes and had thousands of .223 ammo to do with what you want.

whenever i come up on some "bonus" money.. i put half of it in savings and blow the other half on whatever pile of "little things" ive wanted but dont have cuz i cant justify $20 for a shoelace with some wire on it (boresnake).. i have never picked up a gun "just cuz" even if ive wanted it (i still dont own a lever action rifle or a nonsnub nose revolver but i really want one of each).. i also LOVE every firearm i own and enjoy the heck out of shooting them even when im having a day where i cant hit crap..

last time i came up on some money i got myself
-bore snakes for everything i own
-reloading dies (that i didnt already have)
          -more mag pouches
          -better range bag
          -lazer bore sight
-headlamp flashlight (for night shoots, well not for the shooting part but for the between stages part)
-mag parts (fancy followers, baseplates ect)
stuff like that.. its little stuff all less than $50 per item but 25+15+45+25+ and so on adds up to real money pretty quick..
Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!

Bonus was $2600 and I am banking 2000 of it. The 600 will go towards a firearm as I don't need more gear.

Depends on what you're looking at. I probably have 3-4k rounds of various makers of .223/5.56. Do you consider that a butt-ton or an ***** Load??

in that case you cant go wrong with a .223 bolt gun.. the 17hmr savages look like they could be a lot of fun as well..

You could get a Henry Arms AR 7 & scope and still have $300 bucks leftover.

Hard to understand with all those asterisks, but what is that compared to a whooping $#!+ load?
