Building a featureless LMT MRP piston 16". Looking for an asthetically pleasing, well made muzzle brake thats not ridiculously long. Anyone have any suggestions? I think its 1/2x28 (if anyone knows what LMT barrels are threaded for that would be grand) but not sure...(hasnt arrived yet). Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Note Blackout is a flash hider. I imagine you meant the AAC Brakeout, which is actually quite a nice muzzle brake. It has a nice, smooth recoil impulse -- perhaps not as effective as the all-out competition muzzle brakes but it is really pleasant to shoot. Aesthetically it looks pretty cool since it is meant to be compatible with cans.Comment

They have a new (shorter) non-suppressor mount brake now, too.
It's cheaper.
