DPMS Levang linear comp ??

linear comp by Levang sold by DPMS ,I have these on my AR's (3)......they work great for me and I like the look......but.....not looking for "ANY" reason for someone to question my rifle...I shoot at the Sac. Vally Range and there are always LEO's out there , have never had any trouble with my BB AR's before..and now have a featureless AR with a Levang muzzle brake on it..

....I've had a few fellow shooters tell me that is is not a muzzle brake.....it's a comp....and may not be legal ....whats the diff. ?
could I have any trouble using this on my featureless build...Midway lists it as a muzzle brake and if I recall it used to be listed as a linear comp......

what say the group.......am I GTG with this on my featureless AR ?

A compensator IS a muzzle brake. Compensaters/brakes are different from flash hiders.

There is no way that the Levang comp can possibly be construed as a flash hider by any competent LEO.

Yup. some might argue what it is, but there's no argument about what it's not.

Anyone who questions its legal status is an idiot. I've had one RO say it was a sound suppressor because it directed the sound blast forward and I was committing a felony. Retard

I had someone try to tell me that about a KX3 also. It was a sound suppressor. No, it's a sound director.

Nothing, I just laughed at him, told him he was 100% wrong and continued to fire. I hated that range anyway for a number of reason and actually never went back. Not because of that one RO but all of them. They hassled me for every little thing not because I was doing anything wrong but because they loved the power trip.
