OK.... here we go... TD BG-17 vs. MIAD. The original TD BG-16 is the grip that has been available for a long while. The BG-17 (Also marketed by US Palm) was designed for shooters with larger hands. IMO, the MIAD is a waste of extra plastic and parts, because people are going to set up their size configuration, and just toss all the other pieces into a parts bag, to be forgotten. If you have small-normal hands, the MOE grip is great. Magpul should make one other grip following the design of the MOE, but add girth and size in the right places for those with larger hands. This would also bring down the price point (You would assume).
Here is the TD, MADE IN USA, perfect fit everywhere.

Here is the MIAD. Every MIAD that I have owned has looked like this. Made in USA (confirmed, printed on packaging). Look at this ghetto fit. There is also another post floating around showing pics of a mounted MIAD with a gap between the trigger guard and the edge of the grip mounting area. Now, I know these gaps are not going to effect function, but to me it's just amazing that grips like TD, and cheapos like UTG can fit nicely.

Any questions?
