Which forearm to go with a 14.5 ??

OK, Just picked up just about everything to build a new AR and cannot decide which will look/work better for my 14.5 inch YHM fluted barrel. I'm thinking of going either 10inch or 12 full rifle free float tube. Anyone have any pick for their 14.5 setup they would share?

I got a 14.5" with a 10" rail, not exactly what you're looking for, but gives you an idea......

i say go with a 12" lite rail.

For a 14.5" barrel I'd recommend something lighter 7-10". Is it mid or carbine gas?

I don't think YHM makes mids. I say 10". The 12" makes it looks like a SBR but then you realize its not and then your sad haha

Had to go two piece YHM specter block, The gas system is Carbine.

It didn't, I am still thinking about getting one. I had ordered a YHM 14.5 barrel from Primary arms last week, when it still didn't show up yesterday I called and they finally figured out it got lost in the shipping dept and they just never informed me. Unwilling to ship it next day air I got a refund and got a Daniel Defense CHF 14.5 1-7 twist Middy instead. Used the 30 off coupon I had and got it for less than the YHM woo hoo!. Maybe now the spikes rifle length is sounding good???
