Choosing an EOtech

The group buy you did for your xps, was it just to save on shipping or did it get discounted as well? I haven't tried a group buy yet. I got to see an XPS today, it was pretty damn slick and frankly the right size for my AK. I picked out this one, http://www.opticsplanet.net/eotech-t...ible-xps2.html. But what do they mean by "w/ 65MOA ring and 1MOA dot Reticle - 3/8 Inch Dovetail" (dovetail part is throwing me off).

The price was pretty darned good. Looking around, it looks like the Dovetail version is for 22 cal weapons and will NOT fit M1913 rails. So, at Opticsplanet, the XPS 2-0 from the group buy I was in is $480. The group was just south of that PLUS there was a $50 rebate to boot. It was a price I could not pass up.

One thing to consider for AK use, from what I've read here, is that it will have a pretty good offset so be aware and do more research from the AK guys here.
