I was wondering why the LEO's needed that special breaching gun (which has been around for many decades now in one form or other BTW), when a simple tactic change would solve their "problem".

Breacher blows the locks/hinges. Now, instead of pausing to transition to a handgun or rifle....he gets out of the way and lets the the stack go through! By the time the last man goes by, the breacher could have transitioned to a Howitzer and followed the stack in.

Or; breacher loads the two or three breaching rounds last, with standard buck on top. Blow the locks, and roll in as #1 with at least 6 rounds of buck at the ready.

Or; breacher blows the locks, steps aside to allow the stack to roll in, then remains outside as security.

...but i guess that wouldn't make good TV.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

Maybe their SWAT team is small and they don't have an extra man to be a dedicated breacher?

Army thats how we did it in Baqubah. And we did it with three man stacks (of course the rooms over there are small, more like hallways that what we think of as rooms). Breacher breeched, transitioned and became the last man covering the rear.

Did you see the sheriff team in the show ? They were all about 5'4" and 250 pounds, sloppiest group of uniformed men I have seen in a long long time.

Even though he does act like he is inventing everything for the first time ever, the show is ok and I will continue to watch it. And while the daughter has a little trailer park feel to her, after seeing her reaction to shooting the grenade launcher ...I bet she is a trooper in the sack

you know what guys, i dont understand why there are so many uptight people on this forum. Who really cares about the details of this show. I'm just glad there are more shows popping up about firearms and red blooded Americans like the one in this show. They could have just as well made another gay pride,Bridal, man bashing, bake a cake, drama filled teenie bobber show. So with my little 2 cents added LOL.. I will watch this show just in hopes that I will see some cool kick butt guns that we here in Cali can't have. More power to the Coon-*** red necks. ( I say that with pride cuz I lived down there for many years and loved every minute of it.)
