    Safe to fire these rounds?

I'm a total noob so I don't know what is considered safe. I've been searching and reading and most say that little dents are fine. Well, I've been going over the rounds that I have and found a few with bigger dents than the rest. Most of the dents are probably from me loading magazines with the bolt closed in my AR.

Going to go shooting tomorrow, weather premitting, and was wondering if I should just chuck these rounds of if it was safe to shoot.

Lets identify the rounds using numbers, starting with 1 as the round at the top of the stack.

This one has a nice dent ont he shoulder/neck, it is #3 from the picture above.

This one has a weird three ripples? above the small dent

    Just a regular dent

    I'd shoot'em.

EDIT: But when in doubt, give them to me.

And you live right by me too. Maybe I'll save all my dented rounds for a year and I'll trade you for letting me use your bike for a track day haha.

They will just fireform a little in the chamber.............Shoot them. You won't be able to tell which cases were dented after being fired.

                    You're good to go.

I've fired rounds in similar condition initially with a little doubt, but they functioned and shot just fine.

                    Blast away with no remorse!!!

Textbook answer is no, but I'd shoot them.

In reality it probably isn't worth the slight chance of something going wrong and blowing your gun up, but I have shot many many rounds like what you are showing and never had a problem. Then again, I am going to assume you are a handsome guy and your face is worth saving, or your eyes. I am old (not that old, just not that young anymore) so nobody cares if I get some scars, they would just add character.

I am handsome haha, but I'm not one to shy away from scars. I already have my fair share from playing hockey all my life. I'm more worried about blowing up my rifle.

No idea, they are Federal .223 rounds bought at Walmart in a box of 100 if that helps.

Just for clarification, the dents weren't there when I pulled em out of the box. They are from loading full mags with the bolt closed.
