I've got a nice Colt AR, have two good precision bolt rifles, and a lot of curio and relic WWII era bolt guns. I have two nice 22's so not really in the market. I guess it started with looking at a PTR 91, thoiught it looked like a quality rifle, then figured if I'm going to spend PTR 91 money might as well throw in a little more for a DSA or Springfield.

you've got working guns and fun guns and some curios...how about buying a collector piece.

My I suggest that you spend some time reviewing the VZ 58.. It’s $900 and IMO will out shoot any AK or AR in the same price range.. I have one and love it..

NFA has a pretty decent selection from stamped to milled (although that's out of the price range you're looking at) models. I bought a plum SGL from them recently. Nice guy, CA friendly, so a few bucks in savings from elsewhere doesn't mean much.

You mentioned PTR earlier, the GI model is not that expensive, certainly cheaper than other PTRs and any new FAL from DSA.

I just got mine and have been out of town. I plan on taking it to the range next week. Pictures don't do it justice. I think it looks better than the regular, and more expensive, F or K models. The park job looks really well done in person and it just has a classic look to it.

You REALLY want to search a little on this forum, the Enterprise vendor forum here, and especially on the FAL files 'review' forum.

Enterprise is not known for either "great customer service" nor consistently good FAL's.

Do your homework before you drop the bucks. You'll thank me later, I'm pretty sure.

I dont need to search anything, I'm going off personal experiance, my fal runs flawlessly and my experiance with their cusomer service is amazing, I've delt with them first hand, I don't care about ur so called REVIEWS, my personal experiancees dealiing with there cusomer service is amazing. Believe what u want. We all know that DSA fals are amazing but there is nothig wrong with enterprise arms, they had problems in the begining but now from what ive personally experianced they have my full suport and im compleatly satisfied.
