I think most people here use Stag lowers, I think someone made an Off List list, search around the forums with it. I use a Carbon 15 and I had a Spike's Tactical, both were great.
You can get them from several online vendors like TenPercentFirearms.com and ColdWarShooters.net. Some have parts kits and/or stocks installed and others don't. They are very simple to build, I suggest building.
Learn all the laws first before building an AR15; SB23, Kasler, etcComment

I think I am biased, but I think this is the best lower.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.Comment

I would have to agree with Wes...
Having a Calguns lower is like your membership card into the "super secret cool club of the cool kids" - HA!
But really, it is a bitchin lower!"Apparently the kids at the 4-H club that raised my turkey must have fed this bastard snickers bars, muscle milk and, presumably, smaller turkeys." - Tom MylanComment

+1 with wes.
lowers are all basically the same, as in they all arent high stress parts. also whether you prefer forging vs. sold billet construction. pretty much you just need to decide what logo looks the coolest. as being a new member, the CALGUNS lower would be the cream of the crop.2a foreverComment

I purchased a Stag Lower from Lan World with an attached U-15 stock so I can use detachable magazines. Chris, the owner, is very polite and a good person to talk to. Tomorrow my upper should show up and my AR will be complete. I also ordered that from Lan World. From Utah to where I live in California it is two days via UPS Surface which is nice.

Welcome to CalGuns.
For cost factor without sacrificing quality go with Stag.
For unique factor go with a CalGuns lower.
How about 1 of each?
Honestly, any forged lower sold by one of the vendors at in the sale section...LanWorld, 10 Percent, DDs Ranch, Cold War, Maddox...are going to be good to go.
Just pick a lower you like.Comment
