Oh, and if you have problems, hold the Control button down and scroll up with your mouse, it'll increase your text size enough to be able to read all of that if you want.

I got a book where it classifies the Colt Commando as a submachine gun.

Though the M-16 was once intended for the slightly-built Vietnamese soldiers, it is currently issued only to American troops.

No way all those pics could be from '68. The round handguards & the M4 Commando weren't even around until a decade (or more) later!

Can you both see the article taken from the same magazine there. Its "Guns Annual 1968" right on the bottom of the page. I didn't just throw it out there. They had to have had round handguards at least proto's at that point because it was from that date. Trust me, it smells like its from 1968! Wouldn't put it up there for a joke on here, people will ALWAYS call you out on it

Edit: Not trying to sound douchy if it came out that way.

"I use to clean that damn thing better than I cleaned my own a**. Come to think of it, I cleaned it about 4 times between every crap I took. And I took one regularly, just about every day.
If there's one thing I learned in Vietnam, it's clean your gun and carry as much ammo as you can. Nevermind everything else.
Apparently some SOB on our side had the same idea. He was spraying all over the damn place, got squirly, and shot me.
Everybody back in those days was a GD Rambo. Shooting from the hip in a general direction. The only time you shot from the shoulder was when your face was in the dirt."
