Well, just got back from the Glendale Gun Show. Lots of great stuff.... ammo, rifles, ammo. Gun show was $9 and will be there 9-4 Saturday, 9-4 Sunday.

Parking was a PITA If you aren't there bright and early don't go anywhere near the parking structure.

It was my first gun show, so I guess I just had higher expectations.

Aside from a few ammo deals, I saw mostly a bunch of imported knockoff AR bits. There were a lot of rifles, but no particular deals that were any better than you can find anywhere else from what I saw.

I think my future plan will be to get in, get ammo, and get out.

I also have the sound of that godforsaken stun gun clacking stuck in my head. We get it dude - it makes sparks.

Yeah, get there early.....ammo tables are the busiest, but good deals to be had.

It is true, there was a lot of imported crap....Chinese NC-Star Acog, Aimpoint, and Eotech knockoffs. I was looking for a magnifier and the one guy who had EOtech sights only had cheap Chinese POS 3x magnifiers. It would be a great place to pick up some spare parts...springs, buffers, detents.

Finally got some 9x18 hollowpoint ammo there. $16.95 / 50 maybe not cheap but I least I found some.
Picked up some 30-06, too....down to $15.95 / 20 for Win or Fed 150g or 180 g SP or FMJ.
Prices are down and availability is up.

A little ammo as mentioned above.
NIB Phoenix 2 AAA zenon flashlight with bore light attachment $7.00
NIB Houge Grip Sleeve for Autos $6.50
Grab box specials: new belly band CCW holster and used nylon rifle sling $5.00 for both....good raw materials for making something else at least.

ATF had a table there...they looked bored and did not have the answers to the Cali gun owners' questions.
They had handouts warning people to buy and transfer guns only from FFL dealers, etc.

I stopped by the show both days... I really enjoy going. I love being able to pick up simple accessories that are normally overpriced locally or too expensive after shipping online.

Oh, and I managed to get a .308 lower / upper matched received set from JD Machine. Pretty excited about that. :-)
