Which BB for my fist AR build?

Its seems that there many with only slight differences, is it just personal preference? Whats the O ring for the raddlock for? All seem to install very easy, I just dont want one thats junk.

It's really just personal preference. The B-16 is my personal favorite.

Here is the installation guide for the Raddlock.

Raddlock. You can get them in different colors and its just a bad *** mag lock. I have an original BB on one of my ARs and after using the Raddlock, its kind of dumb to ever buy a non-Raddlock again.

None, go featureless. (That is if you aren't totally set on a BB rifle).

          Just another option. YMMV.

Go Raddlock, or go featureless. The raddlock is very well constructed, comes in nifty colors, and makes it easy for out of state use.

Thanks a bunch, best thing about these BB is that I dont have to look on CA DOJ to see if its on the roster!

Raddlock and BulletButton are both great. I have used both and they are equally well constructed. It really is a personal preference.

Out of curiosity, how is it such a pain? within the state you can't legally switch back and forth anyway, and for out of state you loosen a hex set screw. Everyone has their preferences, but PITA makes little sense here I for one prefer the vamfire because the the center of the nut wore through on my raddlock and it was a B***H to get off to replace. They replaced it no questions asked, but I decided to try the Vamfire MLD and haven't looked back. The nut for the Vamfire is more solid and it still offers dual configuration

Agreed - Vamfire MLD is the way to go. Hated the stupid o-rings on the raddlock, I thought that was pretty cheezy. the Vamfire is solid, i screwed the button on with a bit of temporary loctite, even if I do move out of state or shoot a comp out of state, it takes hardly any time and 1 allen wrench to convert to a manual mag release. Plus the vamfire looks the best IMO.

BTW - I have had them all, the Prince 50 (sucked), the Original bullet button, Raddlock, and now the Vamfire....

Yeah it's like they took the design of the Prince 50, BB, and Raddlock, then morphed them into one perfect design. Perfect fit, no o-rings, and I actually like how the bezel lowers to expose the center button in a free state. I hated the way the Rad felt using it in normal configuration while in AZ, and NV
