What's the best value complete upper Ar?

Sweet. I will look at BCM for my next rifle(the current "next one" isn't even done yet). I just want a complete rifle that is one brand top to bottom, inside and out, then I'll go back to franken-guns.

I don't really care for BCM lower since the upper assembly is most important. However, if BCM stripped lowers are readily available for purchase in CA at local AR specialty shops, I will buy some since it's nice to have a complete or 2 rifles from 1 manufacturer.

I just bought a DD upper from SmartGunner. The 16" with DD omega x 12" rail, a2 fh, bcg and CH was 693, which was considerably cheaper than a similarly configured bcm. From what I gather from this site their quality is neck and neck so you're paying extra for the logo. Unless DD customer service is not that great.

grtactical.com is the only retailer I know of that sells complete BCM lowers to CA. I don't know anyplace that sells BCM stripped lowers.

I should have clarified. I'm putting together a complete LMT carbine right now. Once that's finished I'll go back to the mixed breeds

I own a complete BCM. I supsect the reason they are recommended by so many is they make very good quality products at a good price, has good customer service and have so many comfigurations that if you're looking for a "fighting" type AR they got what you want.

I owned a BCM M4 upper (no longer do). Fit and finish is great, better than my CMMG.

It seems to be a quality rifle to from the specs listed. Better than that of DPMS or Delton.

Bummer, core15 is backed up 2more weeks. Guess I'll have to go with BCM or DD.

I guess im getting a rock river flattop midlegnth upper with midwest free float rail and a wilson combat rear sight.

Is this a good set up. I'm getting it cheaper then the bcm

Value is a subjective term.

But for the cheapest standard, good quality upper...
I would say Spikes or BCM.
I have a Spikes middy and I love it.
