    muzzle brake

    i have a Ruger PC9.

i have looked at the DOJ AW guide. it does NOT include a MUZZLE BRAKE.

    my question is:

what is considered a MUZZLE BRAKE?

how is it differentiated from a flash hider?

will a MUZZLE BRAKE be construed as being a flash hider if installed on a PC9?

i wish to construct a MUZZLE BRAKE for it, but...i don't want it to be construed as being a flash hider or 'silencer' as the PC9 is a semi-auto with a detachable magazine.

we are told not to judge muslims by what a few do...yet, the NRA membership and firearms owners are ALL considered as radical...

The PC9 with a Muzzle Brake would fall under the same guidelines as the M14/M1A or the Mini14.
It is perfectly legal to install a MB. A FH is considered an evil item. Install one of those and you now have an evil assault weapon in California.
