    Cheapest AR15 build?

    Whats the cheapest AR15 build?

    So far im thinking

complete plum crazy lower @ $130
upper??? im not sure, but probably around 350? anyone know of a cheaper one? $350

    $480 + dros $35 + misc fees $75 + a few magazines $50

sooo about $650? Unless i can find an used AR in the classifieds going for around 550-600, i think thats probably the cheapest AR possible?

Anyone lend any info? where could i buy a cheap upper, im all for a used one.

Don't forget $50 for your LPK, and at least another $50 for your stock.

Are you going fixed-mag or featureless? Need to plan for either a BB or some type of non-pistol grip either way.

How about your sight system? Irons or optics? BUIS or carry handle? Detatchable? PLan for the expense accordingly.

There can be lots of little expenses involved in building the rifle you want that can add up pretty quickly.

For cheap uppers: I bought a dedicated .22LR upper from akpartskits.com for around $300-350 (don't remember exactly). It has worked fine. I got a .223 middy upper for a little over $400 from Del-Ton.com. That thing is spectacular. Couldn't be happier with the accuracy I get from it.

That would be the build with the least cash. Plum Crazy + JSE Upper. $119 + $335 = $454. Enjoy and be safe. For that amount if you wear out this one, just get another !!

I stand corrected. That is one heck of a deal, even if it is plastic.

Now I have to figure out how to explain to the wife that I need to buy ANOTHER lower.....
