I love Spikes' lowers and their rough hard anodize coating. Their roll marks are deep and precise unlike the rest of the lowers I've seen. I kept buying Spikes' lowers from Rifle Gear although they have others on sale as well (JD and Mega) but other lowers didn't appeal to me for reasons already mentioned.

        4. Because it isn't the calguns lower that $20 from the sale of each lower gets donated to the Calguns Foundation to help fight for 2nd amendment rights in California.

It's all good, this isn't the first time we have done lowers and it won't be the last. Black rifle disease will have a firm grip on your soul by the next run of lowers.

Spikes are good lowers. You will be happy.

I've had one for over a year now, not one problem yet! It's a well constructed component and is unlikely to give you trouble. As far as quality goes, the biggest difference in most lowers is the logo. So pick the one that looks coolest!

as far as i know they are not back ordered. they did mention that they did not have the magpul grips or the magpul ACS stock. but i went with the ergo grip and the MOE stock. but ya no mention of anything being backorderd on my order.

I've built several Spike's lowers for friends. They make a quality lower. Buy & build with confidence.

IT'S EASIER TO GET FORGIVEN THAN IT IS TO GET PERMISSION!
Using gun control to stop crime is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline!
You don't have to get permission to exercise a RIGHT. If you have to get permission or can be told no by the government it is no longer a right. IT IS A PRIVILEGE!

After reading all of the replies, it seems as though I received the runts of the litter. I purchased 2 spike lowers with sequential serial number, and on both I had to enlarge the roll pin holes on the bolt catchs'. Where as my saber defense lowers went right together. With exception to the bolt catch, both of my spikes' are very solid and snug fitting.

If you used DPMS LPK then heck yeah you will run into problems putting roll pins in. DPMS is known for their OVER SIZE roll pins. I used DPMS LPKs in my Spikes lowers, but I tossed out the roll pins and used RRA roll pins instead.
