JAMMED BOLT

I PUT MY LOWER AND UPPER TOGETHER AND RACKED THE BOLT WITHOUT CHECKING TO SEE IF THE HAMMER WAS BACK, IT WASNT, NOW THE BOLT IS JAMMED UP IN THE BUFFER TUBE. DO I NEED TO TAKE APART THIS ASSEMBLY (BUFFER TUBE W/SPRING ) TO FREE UP THE BOLT FROM THE HAMMER. WILL THIS WORK.

Your cap lock key is jammed as well, fix it first. Then see if you can pop the pins and seperate the upper from the lower.

Isn't one of the purposes of racking the bolt to push the hammer back down? Weird.

Do as G-force mentioned, pull both the takedown pins.. a voila!... you can fix the problem.

NOT SO EASY, I DID TAKE THE PINS OUT AND STILL CANNOT GET TO THIS AREA, THE BOLT THAT IS JAMMED IN THE BUFFER TUBE WILL NOT FREE UP.I BELIEVE THE NEXT STEP IS TO TAKE APART THE BUFFER ASSEMBLY TO RELEASE THE BACK PREASURE OFF OF THE BOLT. AM I WRONG, I JUST DONT WANT TO BREAK THE BUFFER RETAINING PIN.

You got your hammer on wrong and now its jamming the bolt. Take the stock and the buffer tube off SLOWLY, and becareful of the little detent pin and little spring popping out. I mean SLOOOWLY because the buffer spring packs a big wollop. You can then take the bolt off if you are lucky. If the hammer is jammed in the middle of the bolt !!!

backwards, spring backwards, out of spec .. I had an Armalite 2-stage hammer that hung up my bolt. Swapped it out and functions great !!!

I think the disconnector will go in backwards (ask me how I know ), watch out for that.

I had this happen before and it was because the buffer tube wasn't screwed over the buffer retainer, so it popped out and got wedged in under the bolt.

I got my lower back from the factory, just hAD A NEW TRIGGER AND UBR INSTALLED, cranked the bolt back and now im jammed. This is a brand new repr, bad *** rifle, so whats up with that GIRLS, NOW WHAT DO I DO.
