New Upper - RifleGear or Stag

Everyone,

I am looking at purchasing another upper. I have a Stag 2T and am very happy with it. I was looking at the Stag Model 2 but then I see the RifleGear 16" carbine for $599. It would appear that the RifleGear upper is far superior and is only about $70 more. I have spare BUIS, so that isn't going to be a problem.

What is everyone's recommendations? I don't see many people post with the RifleGear upper?

I bought a complete Stag 2T as well, but I asked for the same gas block that’s seen on the model 3 at no charge.

I like a little variety and I’m not brand loyal so I’d say check get a different brand. If I were to get something else I would buy a mid-length on a 16” barrel instead of a carbine since you already have the 2T.

I too have had excellent functionality with my Stag upper. No complaints.

Thats just an upper with BCG, charging handle and handguards, correct? If so, I wouldnt hesitate to look at BCM's uppers, especially with their sale. If not, RG>Stag.

Where does RG get their gear? Are these Wilson barrels? CMMG Uppers? I have never found out who supplies gear to RG.

I know who supplies Stag...Stags parent company CMT. (Father owns CMT, Son owns Stag.)
