flip-up sights any quiet?

I'm looking for a set of flip-up sights that are quiet to deploy? Must have good lock!

Easy, don't let them snap into place. As far as a secure lock, I'm happy with my Magpuls. They are fairly quiet and reasonably priced. I've also heard good things about YHM and Troy Industries.

My Troy Battle Sights work nicely. Quick to deploy, and if you don't want to hear a small "click", just depress the release button when deploying.

Yeah, the Troys can be VERY quiet.

Correction: Troys still make a click if you hold the spring loaded button as you deploy.


If you want quick, the ARMS flip up sights are spring loaded.

The Magpuls Mbus are pretty quiet to deploy. The YHM QDS are quick to deploy. I have and am happy with both.

If you hold on to the YHM QDS and don't let the snap up they are pretty quiet ...

I carry my rifle in a scabbier on our ranch and deploying the (YHM QDS ) iron sights has spooked the prey!
