We have them at the SF Gun Show for $260 in either 7.62x39 or .223.

Went down to Metroshot and picked up one of the last 2 saigas. $425 total. Its the 7.62 with 20" barrel model. Felt good and seemed to fit me well. Can't wait to pick it up on the 15th! It came with an authenticity stamp and a hand written accuracy statement. 4 shots, 104mm, at 100 meters. We'll see how it compares to that. I wonder if they just write numbers in there? The guy saw the accuracy statement for the first time and was surprised. I asked to see the one for the second rifle, it said 109mm.

Nice, shame I can't make it there tomorrow, do you have Century Ak's too? Do the Saiga's use AK mags? Excuse my SovBloc ignorance.

If you're going for a Saiga, you want either the 7.62x39mm or the 308 model. 223 is far better done on AR's (accuracy). 7.62x39mm is perfectly good for what the rifle's capable of. However, although 7.62x51 is a far more accurate cartridge than the rifle can really use, firing 308 out of a 16" rifle is just kinda fun...

He works tables for CWS at gun shows. Kinda like me, except I don't go north of LA and I don't think he goes south of it.

Yeah, the Brea range just started selling firearms and doing transfers about 3 weeks ago. They don't have a huge stock, but what they do have seems to be fair priced. I believe they sell Glocks for $539 and SA XDs for $499-509. They also had a brand new S&W M&P .45 in stock for $569.

The last time I was there, they had one Saiga I believe in the 20inch barrel. I had overheard that they were supposed to be getting in 4 more soon, and those would include the 16 inch barrel models. Btw, I believe the price on the Saigas was $359.

The person they have working behind their small gun counter is very helpful and friendly.

I ordered from Classic. The lady on the phone was about the rudest person I have spoke to in a while.

Yeah... she's not the warmest person, for sure. I think that's just her personality. Because I called there yesterday to cancel an order for a K31 and Mosin and get a Saiga instead. She was helpful, just no warm fuzzies.

BTW- they're out of the Saigas, and not sure if they'll be able to get more.
