Buying an AK 47. Need help for accessories to buy.

I'll be getting my AK 47 early Sept. Arsenal SGL-21 to be exact. I can't stop thinking about it so I've decided to buy some accessories for it while I wait the next long 2 months.

I've decided on...
- UTG Quad rail with covers (not sure which one fits though?)
- UTG Quick detach side mount
- Tapco Intrafuse Stubby Foregrip
- 30rd Bulgarian circle 10 mags
- Recoil buffer
- Optics? (I don't even know where to start)
- A case of Silver bear or Gold tiger ammo? (not sure either)(for target shooting)
- 100 rds of really good ammo for special events.
- Sling (??)

Did I forget anything else? Can anyone recommend any decent/cheap target range ammo, optics, slings or any feedback on the above items for a 7.62x39 AK 47? I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance.

Yugo brass case is mildly corrosive but cheap and range safe. Just clean out the threads under the muzzle brake right away.

For ammo, yugo military ammo is cheap, and very good ammo. It says "mild corrosive" but my rifles have not been cleaned in a week, since I shot yugo last. Centerfire systems has 1k for 199.99 shipped, or 249.99 for 1260 rds. shipped.

A sling is cool, I have a leather sling on my "authentic build" Romy.
I have a "tacticool" AK build, K-Var plastic stock, midwest rail, red dot sight, KZ stubby vert grip, m16a1 flash suppressor, but after I put all that on it, I enjoy a plain ole' AK most....
Try it first, you may not want anything on there! They get heavy!!!

I'm gonna edit this, I have changed out the OE sights with HK style sights, much better. And I'll say a flashlight, but my guns are not safe queens. I use em' and I abuse em' thats what I do.

Hmmm. maybe I'll just buy the mag, ammo and mag pouches for now, maybe even a soft case. To be honest I just really like the way it looks with with quad rails and all the other tacticool junk.

Hey 69mach did you have to buy a sling mount for your sgl or were they already pre-installed? Also what's wrong with gettin a recoil buffer? I heard it's better?

Anyone know where I can buy authentic bulgarian circle 10 rebuild kits? I'd like to order some right now

The SGL IIRC is a Saiga with the front end done. The sling mount is on the lower handguard retainer.
The rear will be on the stock.

Recoil buffers are only needed if your rear trunnion is getting damaged from the bolt carrier slamming into it. Sometimes they cause cycling issues.

My gun only has the rail for the light, that is a working gun that I never clean, is filthy, and around 6K rounds through her. I have thrown it around, kicked it around, and buried it in the sand.
