        Yep Olympic and RRA. LW makes Glock mag lowers, Olympic makes .45s that will accept Glock mags, grease mags, uzi mags and regular magwell for their new poly mags and Bazooka Arms makes a .45 lower for grease mags. I think Yellow logic makes 80% dedicated lowers as well, I can't remember what makes it takes though.

            What would be the performance like in terms of ballistics, damage & effective range considering the twist rate of 1:8 using hi end ammo? Just wondering if it would be a good choice for home def. or too underpowered for SHTF.

              I calculated that if I'm shooting out of a 16" bbl the 40sw would be going 1260fps-1500fps IF it still has enough energy to keep building pressure in that 16" bbl. If it does reach those speed a 180gr will hit ~660lbs/ft instead of the normal ~400lbs/ft energy... So you gain a .40 impact +200 more lbs of energy. At that speed it will drop 4" at 100 if sighted in at 50 yards and at 200 it will drop 36 yards and 300 will be 106 or something... Haha. Still want it just because of the idea of not touching rifle brass (I hate trimmig!)

                great info! Do you think Hydrashock type ammo would fare better?
                maybe I should just get the old lady Berreta CX 4. They do need to revamp the design on it though!

                  Most pistol calibers bullets have a Cd like a brick, especially big hollowpoints like Hydrashock. FMJ bullets will have a better Cd but not much better.

                  Thats why the pointy boatail bullets are the best for long distant.

                  Cd = Coefficient of drag
